The FX limited series Fosse/Verdon scored big with 17 Emmy nominations for the 71st Annual Primetime Television Awards.
The show, a behind-the-scenes look at the lives and careers of Broadway power couple Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon earned nods for Broadway vets Michelle Williams and Sam Rockwell, as well as nominations for Alex Lacamoire (Outstanding Music Director for “Life is a Cabaret”), director Thomas Kail, and Margaret Qualley for her performance as Ann Reinking.
I was so excited to be nominated in the Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program category for this wonderful and challenging show.
